Greem promote reading through the sharing of free reading books such us story books, novels, magazine and newsletters to schools; promote group clubs and also organize reading competitions among students local, district and international level.

Greem has book bank that donate books to community and school library to help students do research and have access to good books, learning materials, and a safe environment for study.
This also encourage reading, as the students are mostly seen in the library instead of involving in illicit activities.
Our book bank are financed by donation of used books received from  individuals, institution and organization, we also put up libraries in communities which do not have access to one. this are managed by volunteer and paid staffs  to assist children and the youth while making sure the place is well managed.

The Greem advocacy team organizes periodic motivational seminar and forum to encourage, empower and address problems of these children; and have one-on-one counseling with these students.
Forums are created to train our volunteers on the way of educating and handling their students.
Parents and guardians are educated on various topics pertaining to their kids and how they can assist them at home in their world of education. Volunteer – parent relationship are also built.
Through this seminar a good pupil – teacher relationship, pupil – parent relationship are built. Identified problems are address and measures taken to avoid future occurrence,
With the help of religious leader, role models etc; we are able to achieve this goal and help empower this kids; to see the essence of education and life. This also helps reduce their emotional stress and confusion. Children must not be force to attend school or learn their books, they must be thought to understand why they must learn and be educated, this create willing and happiness to be educated which improve their academic performance.

Our Extra Classes  do not interfere in the laid down curriculum of the schools, it is organized  during vacation, after schools and weekend days. subject thought are Mathematics, English, Science, Leadership Skills and Life Skills among others.

During this event our well trained qualified volunteers use different mechanisms and approaches to help the children get the understanding of these subjects that seem to be a bone in the neck for students. Books and other learning materials are provided during these classes.
